Regulated Medical Waste Disposal Service for the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit, Lame Deer, Montana

The Indian Health Service is seeking to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) and Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) capable of performing regulated medical waste disposal services for the Northern Cheyenne Service Unit in Lame Deer, Montana. The contractor will be responsible for biweekly removal, transport, treatment, and final disposal of all regulated medical waste, including contaminated sharps. The services must be performed in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). • The contractor must supply all containers and associated hardware for mounting or securing, which must comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) regulations and standards. • The contractor must be a qualified vendor to remove, transport, and discard or destroy used sharp instruments. • The contractor must comply with all federal, state, tribal, and local laws when performing the services. • The contractor must demonstrate how they meet the definition of an Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) and how they will receive at least 51% of the earnings from the awarded contract.
