Description
The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is seeking a contractor to perform corrective maintenance on one Mitsubishi Plunge EDM and one Mitsubishi Wire EDM. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision necessary to perform the maintenance. The work is expected to commence within four weeks of contract award and be completed within eight weeks of contract award. The contractor must be a manufacturer-certified technician using only manufacturer-approved parts and software.
• The contractor must provide a total firm-fixed-price for all corrective maintenance work described in the Statement of Work.
• The contractor must provide a separate schedule of fully burdened labor rates, by labor category, to be used for any potential unscheduled or emergency repairs.
• The contractor must provide a proposed fixed pass-through markup rate for materials and parts required for unscheduled repairs.
• The contractor must confirm the ability to meet the period of performance and all security requirements.
