Engineering Services for the Town of Ashland

The Town of Ashland is seeking a professional engineering firm to provide on‑call services for its Public Works Department. The work includes design of roadways, drainage, parks, and other municipal facilities, as‑needed survey work, preparation of specifications and bid documents, construction materials testing, and construction engineering/inspection. Additional tasks cover reviewing developer‑submitted plans, providing written feedback on compliance, and assisting the town with storm‑water regulatory requirements (MS4 General Permit, VSMP, etc.). • Design and engineering services for new or modified municipal projects (roads, drainage, parks, facilities). • Review and comment on developer plans, including traffic impact analyses and subdivision documents. • Support for storm‑water compliance, permitting, and related regulatory reporting.
