The City of Florence is seeking a qualified design team (or consortium) to provide full‑service design for the expansion of the Dr. Eddie Floyd Tennis Center. The scope covers site inventory, design development, permitting, construction‑document production, construction administration, and post‑construction close‑out for a new restroom building, additional tennis courts, related site improvements, fencing, walkways, and utility enclosures. The design team must deliver complete architectural and civil plans, secure all required permits, and manage construction‑phase observations while staying within an overall project budget of approximately $3 million.
• Mandatory pre‑proposal conference on Dec 18 2025; attendance required.
• Final sealed‑hard‑copy submission due Jan 15 2026 2 PM (no electronic bids).
• Evaluation based on experience, project approach, past work, commitment, and local ties (total 100 points).
• Insurance, business‑license, and minority‑business participation requirements apply.
• The City will pay SC sales tax; design fees will be negotiated after the qualification stage.
