Description
The City of San Diego is seeking a contractor to provide landscape maintenance services within the Carmel Mountain Ranch Maintenance Assessment District (MAD). The contractor will be responsible for performing complete landscape maintenance and improvements, including irrigation, pruning, shaping and training of trees, shrubs, turf, and groundcover plants, as well as fertilization, litter control, weed control, and pest control. The contract will be for a period of one year, with four additional one-year options to renew. The contractor must hold a C-27 State of California Contractors License and must possess a valid Qualified Applicator's Certificate for Category B.
• The contractor must provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary for performing landscape maintenance and irrigation services.
• The contractor must install, inspect, and maintain certain improvements, including irrigation systems, plant material, and picnic and playground equipment.
• The contractor must provide a Work Force Report and Equal Opportunity Outreach Plan, and must comply with the City's Equal Opportunity Contracting Program.
• The contractor must achieve and maintain SLBE or ELBE participation levels throughout the duration of the contract.
