Precision Grenadier System Prototype Project Opportunity (PPON)

The US Army is seeking proposals for the development of a Precision Grenadier System (PGS) prototype. The PGS is a weapon-mounted fire control system that includes a soft case, remote(s), lens covers, laser filter unit, mounting and alignment tools, anti-reflective device, lens cleaning kit, Quick Reference Guide (QRG) for basic setup and operation, zeroing chart(s), and two sets of batteries. The system must be able to accurately determine threat characteristics at range and have a minimum magnification to provide adequate resolution at the eye. The proposal must include substantiating data, analysis, and test plans, and the contractor must be able to deliver the prototype within 15 months of award. The Government plans to obligate funding as soon as it is available, and the contractor will be paid the agreed firm-fixed price for every accepted delivery/milestone. • The PGS must be able to perform in various environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures and humidity. • The system must be able to withstand rough handling and transportation. • The contractor must provide a detailed proposal, including a technical description of the system, a production schedule, and a pricing spreadsheet. • The Government reserves the right to modify or cancel the contract at any time. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to export control and intellectual property.
