USAFA - Cascade Wind Tunnel Removal

The United States Air Force Academy is seeking a contractor to dismantle, remove, and dispose of an obsolete government-owned Cascade Wind Tunnel (CWT), associated duct work, and HVAC system. The contractor will be required to provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work. The project will take place at the USAFA Aeronautics Laboratory in Colorado. Key tasks include draining system fluids, disassembling and removing the CWT, safely tracing and disconnecting utility connections, and removing debris. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and following environmental and safety regulations. • The contractor must submit a technical performance plan and pricing in accordance with the contract line-item (CLIN) structure. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be considered for award. • The government will evaluate quotes based on technical documentation, past performance, and price quotation. • The government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation at any time.
