Description
The purpose of this contract is to provide services for planting of Government-furnished conifer seedlings on 130 acres within the Flat Fire on the Gold Beach Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest. The project requires the prime contractor to have certain certifications and licenses, including a Department of Labor issued Farm/Forest Labor License and a State of Oregon issued Farm/Forest Labor License. The project also involves planting 1-0 container stock and requires a 24" scalp in Unit 1 due to a higher percentage of grass, forbes, and brush.
