WTP Sanitary Sewer System Improvements

The City of Richmond is seeking bids from qualified firms to provide construction services at the City's Water Treatment Plant. The project includes replacement of the sanitary sewer pump system, gravity piping, grinders, force main, and heat tracing on the force main, as well as installation of a new sump pump to empty the secondary containment area. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the work. The project is funded with DPU Enterprise Funds and is subject to prevailing wage requirements. Key aspects of the project include: * Replacement of the Plant 1 and Plant 2 Sanitary Sewer system * Installation of electrical appurtenances to support the new sanitary sewer grinders and pumps * Performing concrete repairs * Compliance with City of Richmond terms and conditions, including minority business participation and prevailing wage requirements * Utilization of Trimble Unity Connect for project management and coordination
