Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of General Services, Bureau of Procurement is seeking bids for a new and unused 33,000-lb CDL Diesel-Powered Medium Duty Box Truck. The truck will be used for deliveries in tight and congested areas with steep approach angles. The specifications include a Cummins B6.7 diesel engine, Allison 2500RDS transmission, and a 26’ aluminum dry van body. The vehicle must meet all federal and state regulations and standards. The bid must include all genuine parts, accessories, equipment, and safety features considered standard.
• The truck must have a minimum 250 hp engine and 660 lb.-ft torque
• The truck must have a 50-gallon fuel tank and a 6.6-gallon urea tank
• The truck must have a dual air brake system and a low air pressure light and buzzer
• The truck must have a 26’ aluminum dry van body with a 91-1/8” interior height and a 102” exterior width
• The truck must have a rear vision camera system and a 7” LED digital color display
• The vendor must provide operator training for the vehicle chassis and body features if requested
