Paving (Roadwork) for the City of Reading

The City of Reading is seeking bids for paving (roadwork) services, including mill and overlay of existing roadway pavement, ADA curb ramp improvements, and associated pavement markings and loop detection systems. The City will provide public notification of this bid request through advertisement in the Reading Eagle and other media outlets. • The project includes roads such as Ritter Street, Blair Avenue, Rose Street, Reed Street, Gerry Street, Pear Street, Hudson Street, Orange Street, and Clymer Street. • The contractor will be required to provide a bid bond, performance bond, and payment bond. • The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept or reject any part of a bid. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances, including the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. • The contractor will be required to provide proof of insurance and to indemnify the City against any claims or damages.
