Description
The Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking bids from qualified vendors for Elevator Service & Maintenance at the Hearst Castle at Hearst San Simeon State Historical Monument in San Simeon, CA 93452. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, and other incidentals necessary to provide service and maintenance for two historic elevators. The services shall be performed during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the second Tuesday of each month, including State holidays. The contract term shall be for 60 months from the date of contract execution.
• The contractor must possess and maintain a C-11 (Elevator Contractor) license.
• The contractor must have a minimum of 20 years' experience working on Otis elevators and/or historic elevator units.
• The contractor must provide a preventative maintenance schedule for all monthly work as part of the bidding process.
• The contractor must ensure that all drivers adhere to the posted speed limit while operating in the park.
• The contractor must follow all rules for working at the Hearst San Simeon State Historical Monument (HSSSHM) listed on Exhibit A, Attachment 2 – Hearst San Simeon State Historical Monument Rules of the Road.
