CDBG FY2026 Sidewalk Improvements 25-00701-02-SW

The City of Urbana is seeking assistance to improve or construct new sidewalks along East Elm Street, South Urbana Avenue, and the intersection of East Elm Street and South Webber Street. This work includes replacement of existing brick sidewalk, replacing brick sidewalk with concrete, installation of new sidewalk, driveway pavement, curb and gutter sections, utility adjustments, and appurtenances. Key aspects of the project include: * Replacement of existing brick sidewalks with concrete * Installation of new sidewalks, driveway pavement, and curb and gutter sections * Utility adjustments and appurtenances * Compliance with IDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction * Insurance and bonding requirements * Prevailing wage rates and labor laws The City is looking for a vendor to provide these services, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
