2604ITB - Hazmat Compliant Steel Storage Building

The City of Daytona Beach is seeking a qualified contractor to manufacture, deliver, and install one hazmat-compliant custom steel storage building. The building must meet specific requirements, including being made of heavy-gauge steel, having a non-combustible exterior, and featuring a self-draining pitched roof. The contractor must also provide proof of hazmat compliance. The city will provide site preparation services, and the contractor must deliver the building within 10 weeks of the signed contract. • The building must be 10 x 12 feet in size • The building must have a 60” x 80” double door with self-closing hinges and a key-locking mechanism • The building must have a floor load rating of 500 psf and feature a grounding rod • The building must have natural ventilation and a 6” spill containment sump • The contractor must furnish proof of hazmat compliance at the time of bid submission
