Flagler County Beach Nourishment Project - Reach II FPN 429573-1-38-01

The Flagler County Beach Nourishment Project - Reach II aims to restore the dune and beach along 5.5 miles of critically eroded coastline. The project involves placing approximately 1.8 million cubic yards of offshore beach-compatible sand within the project limits. The scope of work includes mobilization, preparation and restoration of the work site, mechanical screening of dredge material, structural inspection and vibration monitoring, beach tilling, and placement of sand and dune vegetation. The project requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision for the nourishment of portions of the Flagler County beach and dune system. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond, drawn in the favor of Flagler County in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid.
