Description

The United States Secret Service (USSS) is seeking a contractor to provide portable traffic signals and maintenance services for a period of 12 months, with options for two additional years. The contractor will be responsible for delivering, setting up, and removing the traffic signals, as well as performing routine maintenance and repairs. The traffic signals must meet specific technical requirements, including 180° rotation ITE polycarbonate signal heads, 12” diameter LEDs, and a 17’ minimum mast arm vertical clearance. The contractor must also provide a detailed maintenance plan and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. • The contractor will be required to provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to perform the work. • The contractor must have experience in providing similar services and must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the scope of work. • The contractor will be evaluated based on technical and price factors, with the Government reserving the right to conduct discussions and make an award without discussions. • The contract will be a firm fixed-price contract, with a total contract value to be determined based on the contractor’s proposal. • The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to employment, taxation, and environmental protection.

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

Based on the information provided, it is estimated that the total contract value for this opportunity will be in the range of $200,000 to $500,000. This estimate is based on the assumption that the contractor will be required to provide three portable traffic signals, with a rental period of 12 months, and maintenance services for the same period. The actual budget may vary depending on the contractor’s proposal and the Government’s evaluation of the technical and price factors. Factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the work, the level of competition, and the Government’s budget for the project.
