Alley D-D Storm Sewer Replacement Project

The City of Wheaton is seeking sealed bids from qualified contractors for the Alley D-D Storm Sewer Replacement Project. This project includes removal and replacement of approximately 400 feet of 30” RCP storm sewer, manhole structure removal and replacement, proposed storm sewer connections to existing sewers, as well as 810 square yards of P.C.C. alley reconstruction and all other necessary restorations. Key aspects of the project include: • Removal and replacement of storm sewer and manhole structures • Proposed storm sewer connections to existing sewers • Alley reconstruction and restorations • Compliance with Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and other regulations The successful bidder will be required to submit additional documents, including a Certificate of Insurance, Performance Bond, and Maintenance Bond.
