Description
The University of Southern Mississippi is seeking a qualified firm to provide full‑service aerial LiDAR and high‑resolution multispectral photography acquisition over approximately 2,331 sq km of coastal Mississippi (Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson counties). The contractor must supply aircraft, sensors, GNSS, ground control surveying, post‑processing, and deliver data in specified GIS formats with FGDC metadata. The work supports research on elevation modeling, shoreline mapping, flood risk, and disaster monitoring, with required LiDAR point density of ≥18 pts/m², vertical accuracy of 10 cm RMSEz, and orthophoto GSD of ≤6 in.
