The City of Muskogee’s Public Works Department is seeking a qualified contractor to provide ongoing maintenance for all municipal traffic‑signal‑controlled intersections and for solar‑powered flashing school signals. The work involves preventive inspections, corrective repairs, component replacements, firmware updates, and record‑keeping to keep the signal network operating safely and reliably. This is a maintenance‑only solicitation (no new construction) and will likely be a multi‑year agreement covering the city’s entire signal inventory.
• Perform routine inspections and testing of signal controllers, detectors, lamp modules, solar panels, and flashing devices.
• Repair or replace failed signal heads, batteries, solar panels, wiring, and related hardware.
• Update software/firmware, document service activities, and ensure compliance with local and state traffic regulations.
• Provide emergency response for signal outages and maintain a parts inventory for quick turnaround.
• Submit regular performance reports and maintain accurate service logs for the City’s records.
