Description
The US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is soliciting bids for a hopper dredge contract to perform dredging work in the Mississippi River and Southwest Pass. The work consists of furnishing one fully crewed and equipped self-propelled trailing suction type hopper dredge. The contractor must meet certain equipment requirements and have the dredge available to commence dredging within the time required in the specifications. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced responsive bidder.
• The contractor must provide a completed "Hopper Dredge and Attendant Plant Data Sheet" for the dredge to be used under this contract.
• The contractor must provide documentation to prove that the dredge and attendant plant are available and not already obligated for the performance of other work.
• The contractor must comply with the National Dredging Quality Management Program and provide quality data strings.
• The contractor must maintain an archive of all data sent to the DQM computer during the dredging contract.
