HSIP-Rancho and Bellflower Traffic Signal and Street Improvement

The City of Adelanto is seeking a professional consultant to provide civil engineering design services for the HSIP-Rancho and Bellflower Traffic Signal and Street Improvement project. The project includes the installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Rancho Road and Bellflower Street, as well as safety improvements to Bellflower Street from Cactus Street to Rancho Road. The consultant will be responsible for preparing plans, specifications, and estimates for the project, as well as conducting a traffic signal warrant study and providing public outreach support. The project is funded through the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP) Cycle 12. • The consultant will research and determine if environmental documents are required for the project. • The consultant will prepare and complete all required environmental studies and documents. • The consultant will conduct a design survey and prepare all necessary plans, including roadway, drainage, signing, and striping. • The consultant will coordinate with necessary utility companies and obtain necessary clearances and approvals. • The consultant will review the grant application and Adelanto Local Roadway Safety Plan to determine the scope of improvements. • The consultant will use the traffic signal warrant study to determine the need for a traffic signal at the intersection. • The consultant will prepare improvement plans, specifications, and cost estimates for the project. • The consultant will provide public outreach support and agency coordination as needed.
