Description
The City of Grand Prairie, Texas is seeking a qualified professional engineering firm to produce a complete design package for the rehabilitation and improvement of the 2‑million‑gallon Traders Village Elevated Storage Tank. The scope covers structural analysis, coating specifications, safety & security upgrades, operational piping, electrical and instrumentation upgrades, site grading, and full construction‑document set delivery within a 12‑month period after award. The solicitation is an RFQ; fees will be negotiated after the selection of the most qualified firm.
• Full design‑build documentation (drawings, specifications, cost estimate, health‑and‑safety plan).
• Disciplines required: structural, coating, safety, operational, electrical/SCADA, civil/site work.
• Must meet Texas (TCEQ), AWWA, OSHA, and local code requirements; contract is a professional‑services agreement.
