Price Agreement - Concrete Materials

The City of St. Joseph, Missouri is seeking bids for a price agreement for concrete materials. The agreement is to add additional qualified firms to the existing price agreements. Bids must be submitted electronically through the City's electronic bidding system. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The price agreement will expire on April 1, 2027. The vendor shall provide concrete materials that meet the specifications outlined in the document, including 2000 PSI grout, 4000 PSI grout, 50-100 PSI concrete, and air-entrained Portland cement concrete. The vendor shall also provide written confirmation that the requirements for coarse aggregate are met and laboratory test reports regarding the physical properties of the granite aggregate. • The City will order concrete 24 hours in advance to get on the Vendor's Schedule. • The Vendor shall notify the City if the concrete delivery will be delayed. • The City reserves the right to use slump testing to determine if delivered concrete meets the requested specifications. • The Vendor shall adjust the mix to provide the curing time considering the weather conditions. • The Vendor shall incorporate additives such as blast furnace slag or Type F fly ash into the concrete mix. • The Vendor shall provide samples to the City for testing to determine acceptability of material.
