Description
The City of Rocky Mount’s Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive pond and fountain maintenance services at City Lake Park. The contract includes regular biological monitoring, visual inspections, aquatic and shoreline weed control, algae treatment, pond dye application, fountain mechanical checks, trash removal, and detailed reporting. The contractor must hold a North Carolina Landscape Contractor license and a Commercial Pesticide Applicator license, supply all personal protective equipment, and adhere to strict safety and environmental standards. The agreement is for an initial three‑year term with possible one‑year extensions, and the vendor must begin work within 30 business days of contract award. Monthly invoicing and net‑30 payment terms apply.
