Description
The City of Brookhaven is seeking a qualified Aquatics Management Company to operate and maintain three public freshwater swimming pools and one splash pad for the 2027 calendar year. The contract will begin after award and run through December 31 2027, with the possibility of annual renewal. The contractor must provide full‑service pool operations—including lifeguard staffing, water quality testing, chemical balancing, routine cleaning, equipment maintenance, and compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations. A mandatory pre‑bid conference will be held on Nov 17 2026 at the Lynwood Park Pool site; questions must be submitted by Nov 24 2026. Proposals are due Dec 4 2026.
• Operate 3 freshwater pools and 1 splash pad (total approx. 45,000 sq ft of water surface).
• Provide lifeguard staffing, daily cleaning, chemical treatment, filter & pump maintenance, and emergency response.
• Supply all tools, equipment, and consumables needed for pool operation.
• Maintain required licenses, permits, insurance, and a drug‑free workplace.
• Submit detailed monthly reports and comply with City’s financial and purchasing policies.
