The Town of Oyster Bay, New York, is soliciting sealed proposals for the construction of highway and drainage improvements to the Southwood Circle area, Phase 4 & 5, located in Syosset. The project is open to bidding, and proposals must be received by 11:00 A.M. on April 15, 2026. Key requirements include: - Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond. - Contractors must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws. - Contractors must have an approved apprenticeship program in place at the time of bid opening. - Subcontractors with subcontracts over $250,000 must also have an apprenticeship program. - All laborers must have completed the OSHA 10-hour construction safety and health course.
