WILD RICE for use in Domestic Food Assistance Programs

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking offers for the procurement of wild rice for use in domestic food assistance programs. The wild rice must be traditionally harvested, mechanically parched using only wood, and packaged in 25/1-pound packages. The contract type will be firm-fixed-price, and deliveries are to be made on an F.O.B. destination basis to various locations in the United States. The solicitation may include small business set-asides, and the Indian Incentive Program will apply. • The contract is expected to be awarded on March 4, 2026. • Deliveries are to be made between April 1, 2026, and July 31, 2026. • The total quantity of wild rice required is 160,000 pounds. • The offeror must meet the AMS vendor qualification requirements and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). • The offeror must submit a completed Bid Certification Questions document and meet the requirements outlined in the Master Solicitation and Commodity Requirements Document for Wild Rice.
