Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The total grant pool is $6 million for up to six awards, giving an average award size of roughly $1 million. Because the maximum award per project is $2 million and the minimum is $50 k, most competitive proposals will likely fall in the mid‑range. A realistic estimate for a successful applicant is between $500,000 (smaller renovation or equipment upgrade) and $2,000,000 (new facility construction). The final amount will depend on project scope, cost‑share contributions, and the agency’s discretionary scoring.
