OPW 54845: Sorensen Parkway Guardrail Barrier

The City of Omaha is seeking bids for the construction of a guardrail barrier on Sorensen Parkway. The project involves the construction of 3,500 linear feet of guardrail, including clearing and grubbing, and removal of 2,500 linear feet of existing guardrail. The contractor will be required to perform a minimum of 30% of the work without subcontracting. The city reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any or all bids. • The bid security shall be in the amount of 5% of the bidder's maximum bid price. • The bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, an official bank check, or a cashier's check drawn on a national bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the State of Nebraska. • The contractor shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding excavation and location of utilities. • The contractor shall obtain all necessary permits and comply with all terms and conditions established by the city or other entities controlling the site. • The contractor shall fill all holes and clean up and restore the site to its former condition upon completion of the work.
