The Navy Clothing and Textile Research Facility (NCTRF) is conducting market research to identify domestic molders shoe manufacturers that can produce Berry amendment compliant molders shoes. The molders shoes must meet specific design and critical technical requirements, including a slip-on design with elastic gusset(s), low-calf height of 6 inches, and a full grain cattlehide leather upper. Interested parties are required to submit production quality samples, along with an estimated unit cost, product description, and specification sheets. The submissions will be used to validate current U.S. Navy molders shoe requirements and may lead to future contract awards. • The molders shoes must be capable of meeting the specified design and critical technical requirements. • Production quality samples are required for submission. • The submissions will be handled as proprietary, and samples will not be returned. • No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information or samples. • The information received under this announcement may be used to purchase items for Government testing.
