Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements RFP - (Re-bid)

The Town of Little Elm, Texas is requesting proposals for the construction of wastewater treatment plant improvements. The project includes demolition, installation of new equipment, and modification of existing systems. The proposal should include a proposed contract price, experience and qualifications of key personnel, project experience and past performance of the offeror, and the offeror's project approach. Key aspects of the project include: • Demolition of existing fine screen, associated support structure, and discharge chute • Installation of a new fine screen, associated support structure, and discharge chute • Integration of existing and new fine screens into the plant SCADA system • Dewatering, cleaning, and inspection of the aerated grit chamber • Installation of new contracted effluent weirs in the aerated grit chamber • Provision of temporary bypass pumping from the influent pump station manhole to RAS mix box • Demolition of existing clarifier mechanism, service platform, access bridge, and other incidentals • Installation of a new clarifier mechanism, service platform, access bridge, and other incidentals • Modification of controls for existing sludge feed pumps • Installation of temporary piping to bypass the existing gravity thickener for dewatering, cleaning, and inspection • Assistance with dewatering and cleaning aerobic digestors for inspection.
