Intent for Sole Source Procurement of Accreditation Services for Graduate Medical Education

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a contract to the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for a 1-year period beginning January 1, 2026. The contract is for annual accreditation of DHA graduate medical education programs across the DHA enterprise. The ACGME is an independent, 501(c)(3), not-for-profit organization that sets and monitors voluntary professional educational standards essential in preparing physicians to deliver safe, high-quality medical care to all Americans. • The contract is for a 1-year period. • The contract is for annual accreditation of DHA graduate medical education programs. • The ACGME is the single accreditor for graduate medical education in the United States. • The award will be made under class Justification and Approval JA-24-0328, approved on November 14, 2024.
