Description
The United States Air Force is seeking information from small business contractors regarding their ability to provide a Manual Blast Cabinet System. The system should meet specific requirements, including a blast enclosure, suction blast media delivery, and media recovery and dust collection components. The system must also comply with certain certifications, standards, and requirements, such as electrical work completed by a licensed electrician and compliance with the 2023 edition NFPA 70 National Electric Code (NEC).
• The system should have a blast enclosure with a #14 gauge steel cabinet, dual panel swing door, and viewing window.
• The system should have a suction blast media delivery component with a 1 cubic foot media storage hopper and front-mounted modular piping.
• The system should have a media recovery and dust collection component with a 600 cfm externally tunable cyclonic reclaimer and 11' dust hose.
• The system must comply with electrical standards and have a 13 Amps at 230 volt, 60 Hz, 1 phase power supply.
