Next Generation Logistics Ship (NGLS) Concept Design Multiple Award Contract (MAC) Solicitation

The United States Navy is seeking concept designs for the Next Generation Logistics Ship (NGLS), a new class of ships intended to support Distributed Maritime Operations, Littoral Operations Contested Environment, and Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations. The NGLS will provide refueling, rearming, and resupply capabilities to Naval and USMC assets. The contractor will be required to deliver cost-effective ship designs and approaches that meet the capabilities required by the NGLS Circular of Requirements (COR) Rev 1.17. The contractor will also conduct a global market survey for replenishment ships that could be built in United States shipyards and assess the feasibility and affordability of current NGLS requirements.
