City of Raleigh, Sertoma Arts Center Improvements Project

The City of Raleigh is seeking bids for the Sertoma Arts Center Improvements Project, which involves the demolition of 1,398 SF of an existing two-story arts center building and the renovation of the remaining building, as well as a new one-story 9,399 SF addition. The project includes vocational arts classrooms, a multipurpose room, and support spaces. The scope of work includes mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades, as well as the installation of fire sprinkler and alarm systems. • The project requires prequalification and licensure to perform the work in accordance with North Carolina General Statute, Chapter 87. • The City's aspirational goal is 15% certified MWBE participation for construction projects of $300,000 or more. • Bidders must demonstrate a good faith effort to meet this goal. • The bid deadline is June 4, 2026, at 3:00 PM. • Bid documents are available from the CMAR, and bidders must be prequalified to participate.
