The University of Central Florida (UCF) is seeking a supplier to design and implement a structured Kaizen Teian system within the Facilities and Business Operations Division, which includes approximately 900 employees. The supplier will be responsible for developing the program structure, training and certifying internal Kaizen trainers, facilitating full-division rollout and employee training, and supporting cultural integration of continuous improvement through coaching, progress tracking, and long-term sustainment strategies. The program must include a system for idea submission, review, implementation, follow-up, and lateral deployment, along with tools to measure participation, savings impact, and engagement.
• The supplier will lead the design, implementation, training, and transition to full UCF internal ownership of a structured Kaizen Teian system.
• The supplier will certify a minimum of 8 internal UCF trainers capable of delivering Kaizen Teian instruction and supporting long-term sustainment.
• The supplier will facilitate phased implementation across the division and monitor system performance, engagement, and adoption.
• The supplier will deliver Kaizen Teian training to all remaining employee groups, scheduled in alignment with operational readiness and staffing availability.
• The supplier will ensure UCF is prepared for full internal ownership by confirming that certified trainers, documented processes, and tracking systems are in place to support ongoing sustainment without external support.
