OMH Hutchings Psychiatric Center Roof Replacement & Associated Asbestos & Hazardous Material Abatement Buildings 6, 11, 15, 17 DASNY is soliciting bids for the removal of existing roofing material and installation of a new roofing system with asbestos and hazardous materials abatement project at Buildings 6, 11, 15 and 17 of Hutchings Psychiatric Center, located at 620 Madison Street, Syracuse, New York. The purpose of this project is to remove the old existing roofing material and replace with a new TPO roofing system. CR10 – The GC Contract includes temporary facility controls, site preparation, selective demo, new roofing system materials & installation and asbestos & hazardous material abatement. The estimated construction cost range is between $3,500,000 and $3,800,000. CR11 – Electrical Contract includes disconnecting existing exhaust fan and mini split unit electrical connections, provide feeder to new exhaust fan, and reconnect electrical connections. The estimated construction cost range is between $100,000 and $150,000. CR12 – The Plumbing Contract includes removing existing roof drains, 6' of piping and associated components and replace with new. The estimated construction cost range is between $200,000 and $240,000 CR13 – Mechanical Contract includes removing existing exhaust fans and ventilators and replacing with new. The Mechanical contractor will also be responsible to testing all equipment prior to removal, and after reconnection. The estimated construction cost range is between $300,000 and $350,000.
