Description
Lee County, Mississippi is seeking qualified engineering firms or individual engineers to provide full‑service engineering support for an infrastructure project that may be funded by the Appalachian Regional Commission, HUD Community Development Block Grant, the U.S. Economic Development Administration, or other federal/state sources. The scope includes preparing a preliminary cost estimate and engineering report, and, if the grant is awarded, developing plans and specifications, managing the bid process, assisting with contract execution, conducting pre‑construction conferences, and performing construction inspection and reporting through project close‑out. Proposals are evaluated on qualifications (40 %), experience (40 %), and capacity for performance (20 %). The contract will be fixed‑price and awarded to the highest‑scoring qualified bidder.
