Description
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is seeking to purchase one 17’ Aluminum Center Console Boat, a 65 HP Jet drive four-stroke Outboard Motor, and an Aluminum Trailer. The boat and motor must be designed for operation in shallow water and light vegetation, meeting or exceeding the provided specifications. The contract will be awarded to the respondent whose quote is considered the best value to the department, taking into account factors such as price, ability, qualifications, and experience.
• The boat must be 17 feet long, with a minimum 14-gallon fuel tank and a fuel water separator.
• The motor must be a 65 HP Jet drive four-stroke outboard motor, with a minimum 3-star CARB rating.
• The trailer must be fully welded, with a minimum of one standard drain hole, and equipped with fully grounded, waterproof, submergible LED lighting.
• The contractor must provide a predelivery inspection at their facility, and the department will pay for staff travel expenses for the initial inspection.
