The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is seeking a qualified vendor to design, fabricate, and deliver three custom‑built trammel‑net fishing boats and three matching trailers. The boats must meet specific dimensional, material, and performance criteria, include an outboard‑well box for a Yamaha 90 hp or 115 hp engine (provided by the state), and be fully rigged and tested before delivery. The contractor must also supply trailers that meet load‑capacity and safety specifications, and provide a ten‑year hull and transom warranty.
• Quantity: 3 fiberglass trammel‑net boats (≈24 ft LOA) and 3 tandem‑axle trailers.
• Technical requirements: precise hull dimensions, fiberglass construction with 20 lb composite core, ABYC‑E9 and U.S. Coast Guard compliance, weight < 2 tons, integrated outboard‑well box, full suite of navigation and safety equipment.
• Delivery: Completed, water‑tested boats and trailers to be delivered to Charleston, SC by 14 May 2027 (final deadline 30 Jun 2027).
• Contract type: Fixed‑price, award to lowest responsive bidder; vendor must be a registered South Carolina vendor and provide a 10‑year warranty.
