Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements RFP - (Re-bid)

The Town of Little Elm, Texas is requesting proposals for the construction of wastewater treatment plant improvements. The project includes demolition, installation of new equipment, and integration with the existing plant SCADA system. Key points to consider: • Demolition of existing Fine Screen No. 1 and associated support structure and discharge chute • Installation of a new Fine Screen No. 1 and associated support structure and discharge chute • Integration of both existing and new fine screens into the plant SCADA system • Dewatering, cleaning, and inspection of the Aerated Grit Chamber • Furnish and installation of new contracted effluent weirs in the Aerated Grit Chamber • Temporary bypass pumping from the Influent Pump Station manhole to RAS Mix Box Nos. 1, 2, and 3 during modifications • Demolition of existing Clarifier No. 2 mechanism, service platform, access bridge, and other incidentals • Furnish and installation of a new Clarifier No. 2 mechanism, service platform, access bridge, and other incidentals • Modification of controls of existing sludge feed pumps for the volute dewatering presses • Installation of temporary piping to bypass the existing Gravity Thickener for dewatering, cleaning, and inspection • Assistance with dewatering and cleaning Aerobic Digestors 1 – 5 for inspection
