Contract 262 - Substructures

The Muscatine Power and Water is seeking bids for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary to complete the substructures project. The project includes deep foundation system, building and equipment foundations, underground piping, oil/water separator, underground electrical duct bank, grounding, electrical manholes, and finish grading at former spoils piles. The contractor shall hire the special inspector(s) as required in the Technical Specifications. • The project requires compliance with the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) Tax Credits, including prevailing wage, apprenticeship requirements, and domestic content. • The contractor must provide a detailed description of their on-site safety program, including subcontractors. • The contractor must provide descriptions of the qualifications of the high-pressure natural pipe contractor or subcontractor, deep foundation contractor or subcontractor, and special inspector. • The contractor must provide equipment and labor rate schedules, proposed project schedules and manpower loading, schedules of values, material information sheets, and previous experience, references, and contact names and phone numbers.
