Description
The North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources is seeking a qualified vendor to perform trash and recycling services at Pisgah View State Park. The contract term will be for three years, beginning December 1, 2025, and ending November 30, 2028. The vendor will be responsible for providing trash and recycling services, including pick-up and disposal of solid waste, and maintaining a clean area around each dumpster. The vendor must also comply with all laws, ordinances, codes, rules, and regulations relating to the work called for in this contract.
• The vendor must provide a supervisor who can communicate in English and any other language of crew members employed by the vendor.
• The vendor must assure continuity of effective service when changing personnel.
• The vendor must access the designated areas outlined in this contract and refrain from entering unauthorized zones.
• The vendor must contact the Department Contract Manager by phone if inclement weather conditions interrupt or delay service.
• The vendor must provide a replacement dumpster at no additional cost to the Department if the Contract Manager determines the container is unsightly, damaged, or unusable.
