Description
The Town of Leesburg is soliciting bids to provide cleaning, inspection, and disinfection services for its water distribution system storage tanks. The work includes routine triennial cleaning, as‑needed cleaning, and detailed inspection/reporting to assess tank condition and prioritize rehabilitation. The contractor must be able to mobilize equipment, safely drain and refill tanks, remove sediment, disinfect interiors, and deliver comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Scope covers internal and external tank inspection, sediment removal, disinfection, and final reporting.
• Services are required on a triennial schedule with additional on‑call work as tank issues arise.
• Contractor must have experience with municipal water tank cleaning, proper safety/permits, and ability to produce detailed evaluation reports for the town’s asset management program.
