Description
The City of Wilmington is seeking a single‑prime contractor to execute a comprehensive streetscape improvement program along Dawson and Wooster Streets (U.S. 17/74/76) from 3rd to 17th Street. The scope includes milling and resurfacing existing pavement, full replacement of curb and gutter, installation of new traffic signals and signage, ADA‑compliant sidewalks and curb ramps, drainage upgrades, utility coordination, erosion‑control measures, and landscaping. The work must be completed within one year from the notice‑to‑proceed and is subject to liquidated damages for late completion. The project offers multiple subcontracting opportunities for concrete, paving, traffic‑control, utilities, landscaping, and related specialties.
