Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide customs brokerage and transportation services for the import of pharmaceutical products to the Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The contractor will be responsible for customs clearance, transportation, and delivery of the products, as well as maintaining a continuous bond and renewing it as necessary. The contract will have a base period of one year with four option years. Key services include:
• Customs brokerage and clearance
• Transportation and delivery of pharmaceutical products
• Maintenance of a continuous bond
• Coordination with the VA Cooperative Studies Program Clinical Research Pharmacy Coordinating Center
• Compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, including those related to controlled substances and temperature-controlled transportation.
