Tower Lighting, Monitoring & FAA Compliance Svc

Webb County is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide remote monitoring, outage detection, reporting, and regulatory compliance management for tower lighting systems located on County-owned communication towers. The County's objective is to maintain continuous compliance with Federal Aviation Administration requirements, ensure timely detection and reporting of lighting outages, establish a reliable monitoring and compliance management program, and reduce risk of regulatory violations and safety hazards. The contract will be for a term of five years, and the County intends to award a single contract to the proposer whose submission is determined to provide the best value. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing comprehensive monitoring and compliance services • Integrating with existing County tower lighting systems and controllers • Detecting and logging lighting failures, power interruptions, and controller/system malfunctions • Providing immediate notification upon detection of outages or failures • Performing required outage reporting to the Federal Aviation Administration • Maintaining complete, audit-ready records • Providing training for County personnel and ongoing user support
