The project requires the contractor to complete all work as outlined in the Invitation for Bid. Key aspects of the project include: • Providing a new valve and loop system for the Primary Scum Flushing Loop • Removing existing pipe sections and couplers and replacing them with new ones • Installing new valves, tees, and pipe sections to restore sludge and scum pumping to operations • Completing installation of all new pipe sections, elbow, and couplings to complete the loop • Building new piping supports to code • Coordinating with the City's Project Manager to complete a test run to ensure the operation of valves does not cause leaks The project requires the contractor to have experience with similar projects and to be familiar with the City's standards and regulations. The contractor will be required to provide a bid bond, payment bond, and performance bond. The project is expected to be completed within a certain timeframe, and the contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the satisfaction of the City.

Budget estimate

$200,000 – $500,000

Based on the project description, the estimated budget for this project is likely to be in the range of $200,000 to $500,000. This estimate is based on the scope of work, which includes providing a new valve and loop system, removing and replacing existing pipe sections and couplers, and installing new valves and pipe sections.
