Description
West County Wastewater District (WCW) is seeking qualified contractors to perform short‑term rehabilitation and upgrade work on Secondary Sedimentation Basins 1 and 2 at its Water Quality & Resource Recovery Plant in Richmond, CA. The contractor will install owner‑furnished collector chains and flights, replace water‑system piping, replace precast walkways and sluice gates, perform concrete surface repair, upgrade electrical components, and conduct demolition, site restoration, cleaning, commissioning, and training. The project is limited to the two basins, must be performed while the plant remains operational, and is estimated at $5.6 million. Bids are due electronically by 3 pm on December 16, 2026.
