Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide construction period services for the replacement of roofs on buildings 16, 18, 19, 20, and 21 at the Castle Point VA Medical Center. The services include construction management, tuckpointing, sealcoat, and lead and asbestos abatement oversight. The contractor will be responsible for evaluating RFIs, reviewing submittals, and performing site visits. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price contract with a period of performance of 730 calendar days.
* The contractor will provide construction management services for the replacement of roofs and renovation of building facades.
* The contractor will be responsible for evaluating RFIs and providing recommendations to the Contracting Officer.
* The contractor will review submittals and forward recommendations to the Contracting Officer.
* The contractor will perform site visits during construction.
* The contractor will perform asbestos and lead inspection and documentation services.
